HOW IS MY PRODUCT SHIPPED?

We do our absolute best to ship the next day and use Sendle to ensure you get the best rate available to us on shipping. Your sauce bottle will arrive in a purpose built box along with a few other goodies.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

If you're unhappy with your order for any reason at all, we'll simply refund your money. You don't have to return the item. Just drop us an email and let us know. We'll process your refund ASAP.

IS YOUR SAUCE VEGAN/KETO/PALEO/VEGO/CARNO/KOSHER/HALAL?

Short answer is, yes. All of those things. Being big weirdos ourselves, we cater for all weird diets. Normal is just boring.

WILL YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We certainly plan to go global in the future. But if you're a hot sauce crazy like us, just drop us an email and I'm sure we can work something out.

WHAT DOES FERMENTED MEAN?

We use a lacto-fermentation method. Which basically means we leave our ingredients submerged in a salt water brine for up to two weeks. We then blend and bottle everything up. This is what gives our sauce an unbeatable flavour.

IS YOUR SAUCE PASTUERISED?

No. Our sauces are never heat treated, which means the fermentation process leaves them with a live active good bacteria which will continue to ferment. This means you may get a pop of gas when opening the bottle, and the flavour will continue to evolve over time.

HOW MANY SCOVILLES IS YOUR SAUCES?

We use a range of chillies in our sauces with varying levels of heat.

Cayenne 30,000 - 50,000

Birdseye 50,000 - 100,000

Habanero 100,000 - 300,000

Carolina Reaper 1,400,000 - 2,200,000

WAIT. WHAT'S A SCOVILLE?

Scovilles are the unit of measurement to measure the level of heat in different types of chillies.

WHAT DO THE FLAMES MEAN ON THE BOTTLE?

The flames on each bottle are just a relative heat rating. We do our best to give you an indication of the level of heat in our sauces, but in reality everyone has different tolerances.

DO YOU USE ANY PRESERVATIVES OR ADDITIVES IN YOUR SAUCE?

No. Nothing. Just like it says on the bottle, "ALL REAL. NOTHING FAKE.". 

WHAT IS XANTHAN GUM?

Xanthan gum is a yeast formed through fermentation. Because it's white, ground into a powder, and has a funny name, people often think it's something artificial. It's just as natural as any other ingredient in our sauce and we use it as it helps stabalise the texture.

IS YOUR SAUCE AUSTRALIAN MADE?

Yes. We do our best to ensure at least 80% of all produce and manufacturing is Australian. Keeping things local is super important to us.

WHAT CAN I PUT YOUR SAUCES ON?

This is actually a frequently asked question. The answer is, EVERYTHING. If you're a nutcase like our founder, Abe Ghani, you might even put in on your ice cream!
